Electrical H/W Engineer- Computing and Interface Products Sterling Heights, MI Contract Position Moseley Technical is supporting the global leader in the design, development, production, support, and sustainment of tracked and wheeled military equipmentAs part of this team, you are keeping our allies and soldiers safe every day on the groundIf you want to work on meaningful projects with an employee first company, we invite you to join our teamResponsibilities:--- Responsible for generating requirements and the design, debug, and test of ruggedized electrical hardware circuit boards and assemblies.--- Design and Develop Electrical Components and Subsystems for Processing and Interface Products
* Concept to production delivery support including design, debug, test, and qualification
* Support system architecture analysis, trade studies, and participate in associated engineering reviews
* Review and develop Hardware and Software requirement documents and test plans
* Support circuit design, component selection, procurement, and prototype hardware debug and builds
* Develop Engineering Design Fixes, and Coordinate Solutions
* Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:--- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer or Computer Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years' applicable experience required.
* Ability to use Engineering Development and Test Tools.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
* Strong multi-tasking skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Digital and Analog design including power and thermal analysis.
* Schematic development, component selection, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
* Microprocessor based products and Single Board Form Factors: Intel, AMD, ARM, VPX, VME, COM Express.
* Embedded Microcontroller H/W and programming skills (C, C++, Visual Studio)
* Industry standard interfaces and products (PCle, DDRxx, USB, SATA, RS422/485, MIL-1553, Ethernet, CAN, RS422/485, Solid State Drives)
* Graphics/video interfaces (HDMI, DisplayPort, HD-SDI, RS-170, LVDS)
* FPGA Design and Simulation (Xilinx Toolsets)
* EMI/EMC, High Speed Signal Integrity design practices
* Military design and test requirements including MIL-1275, MIL-461, MIL-464, MIL-810
* Six Sigma design tools including DFMEA and Reliability Analysis
* Strong record keeping skills with commitment to tracking design changes, debug status, Hardware and Software revisions.
* Desired Experience:--- Ability to obtain a US security clearance(Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
* Previous experience working on ground combat Vehicles desired.
