Job Title: CT Technologist Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing all computerized tomography (CT) scanning procedures, while ensuring patient safety and image quality. Candidates should have proficiency with Philips CT equipment , strong technical and clinical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, set up, and operate complex CT equipment for diagnostic procedures. Position and transfer patients following safety and proper lifting techniques; apply immobilization devices when necessary. Accurately identify patients and obtain relevant clinical history and allergy information. Prepare and administer intravenous contrast media according to radiologist protocol. Capture, develop, and archive images for diagnostic use; ensure electronic image storage and transfer. Maintain daily patient schedules in coordination with other staff. Perform equipment calibration and quality control procedures daily. Monitor patients during and after contrast administration; respond to medical emergencies, including administering CPR if necessary. Ensure radiation safety for self and patients, following all regulatory guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and inventory within the CT department. Assist radiologists and physicians during specialized procedures. Train and orient new personnel when needed. Participate in continuous quality improvement and departmental assessments.
